Built to be the wave that changes everything.
Ninth Group began as Pro World Tech, a freelance web development practice run by a full-stack software engineer. Client by client the work grew: from websites to web applications, from applications to the infrastructure that runs them, and from infrastructure to automation and AI.
Ninth Group is what that work became: a technology group with a division for each stage of a business’s growth, sharing one standard of engineering and one commitment to the people we build for.

Why the ninth wave?
Sailors have long spoken of the ninth wave. Waves arrive in sets, and the ninth is said to be the largest and most powerful of them all: the one that reshapes the shoreline.
That is the role we want to play for our clients. Not another ripple, but the wave that changes everything about how their business runs.

A numeral riding a wave.
The 9 and the crest beneath it are one shape: the number in our name carried by the wave it stands for. Magenta builds into blue the way a wave builds before it breaks.
